On January 1st, 2010, the Institute of Food Safety, Animal Health and Environment "BIOR" was created reorganizing the Food and Veterinary Service (FVS) and the Latvian Fish Resources Agency (LATFRA). LATFRA scientific units are included in BIOR as Fish Resources Research Department. This web page will be opened on this address till a new website of "BIOR" is created.
Hydroacoustic survey on the herring stock in the Gulf of Riga From 20th July to 31st July 2010 Fish Resources Research Department scientists and Estonian Marine Institute specialists carry out joint hydroacoustic survey on the herring stock in the Gulf of Riga. The survey covered the Latvian and Estonian Economical zones. |
